The complete overhaul of my web presence continues!
I have updated images on the website to coincide with the completion of "The Ruination of Atlantis: A Ballet for Virtual Orchestra". A lot of the images in the background of this site were created by me and represent the city of Atlantis pre-destruction. This 3d model, created in Blender 3d, is far from complete. I am still creating the buildings in the city and learning the program at the same time.
In the end, I intend to use these models and renderings to serve as part of the set (or the entire set as a backdrop) for performance of the ballet. I will also design specific virtual (CGI) set pieces for individual movements. These might include the interior of the Temple, the docks, and the site of the "War Dance". As for the destruction scene.... I am not sure what I'm going to do there. First thing's first: I have to design the rest of the city. And that is a LONG process.
